|
|
First question:
Does anyone know where I can find an exploded view of the shoe-boxes that shows all of the tins & parts? just so I can find the right doors for them...
...looks I have everything in mine and am only missing the doors, the rods are there and not sure which style door I actually need
My shoe-boxes are the three ribbed style like in the pic below....
Would the three ribbed style be the early style 36hp or later style? I think they are early? (motor is 9/'56)
Second question:
Does anyone know if I will I need to drop the engine to install the doors? or can the 2 missing doors be installed with the motor installed? Dropping the engine is not an issue if need be, but thought I would ask if not needed.
Third Question:
The new heater cables are already in and the upper flaps in the exchanger move work just fine and the rods are connected to them and with not knowing which style door I need? If there is not an exploded view anywhere know which style doors I would actually need for the lower heat tins that I have?
Searching around it seems there are 2 different styles. An early style & a late style for 36hp and I do not know which style my lower tins are. It looks like one is nearly perfectly square and another style looks like it has a slight angle at one of the edges...
Seems one style looks like these:
and say it is for LATE style 36hp....
and another style looks like these:
and says it is for EARLY style 36hp....
Hope someone can help sort this out and get the correct ones I need... _________________ ::: Slowoval ::: LaDawri Sebring ::: '61 Creampuff ::: Dust Storm '66 ::: |
