engine assembly - Distributor drive - 36hp

Finally getting back to putting this engine back together and I read in the great article by Hank Roed.

I have put together 25 or more later engines but never a 36..

so, it says to put the distributor drive gear and the distributor (facing #1) in before you put the crank in place,

I always just dropped in the drive gear after the halves were back together.

Is that a 36hp thing?

No differense between 30(36)and others,some just prefer to install before and others after.
