I was able to save the barrels of the shortblock. They are honed, the pistons are ok and the rings are good. If I can find some heads, I can reassemble this thing soon! _________________ 64 No'back Speedster "Pearl"

Two were nasty bad and took a very long time with the hone.
I will have to buy some shims to take up a touch of the end play. _________________ 64 No'back Speedster "Pearl"

i had a tweeker come by the house today and tell me he would be back in an hour with a trailer to buy WT. Haha... I told him it was ready for me to sell, He said that cash always makes things ready. Irony... He was on a bicycle and couldn't stay focused. I closed up the shop and double checked the locks tonight! _________________ 64 No'back Speedster "Pearl"

the 1600cc engine will be going on the stand in a couple weeks after the shop is finished. The nice thing about a low buck shop? If it isn't fit together like a piano build, I can blame it on the materials!
Tram, you will like that more than 95% of it is re-purposed. At least I think that is what the tree-hugger types call recycled materials.

Woot... almost there! Ran out of time and long 1x6s yesterday. I will trim off the extra length to use for the short boards to the right of the door opening this evening.

Brian, that's quite an accomplishment to design and build this storage area. I have two left hands as to hammers and saws... Will you paint the inside walls and ceiling white to maximize light reflections? |

At some point, but probably not until spring. it is too stinking wet this time of year here.
I still have to put the actual siding on the structure, but I am lucky that the weather side of it is actually the house side, so most of the nasty gets blocked 1st. _________________ 64 No'back Speedster "Pearl"
