C'mon... there's 24 hours in a day... use them and crank some out.
But seriously, keep me in mind on this too. These would be way cool for Type 4 Variants too... just sayin. _________________ Немає виправдання для війни! Я з Україною.

I got bored a couple days ago and started a new cargo cover. This one is mesh red and will most likely be up for grabs. Maybe someone out there has just the right interior for it. Next up is the other half...

Over the weekend I dismantled my cargo cover so that it can become my main pattern. It was in the car for a couple years, sparking interest from tons of people. It was a tough decision, but it was time. All that work, only to take it apart.
Ah well. Now I can make them for anyone interested. Here's the first customer cover in mesh grey:
Cover is drawn out and frame is built out.
Rough cuts are made, time for final fitting/sanding.
Donezo. He's going to add his own knobs.
If anyone is seriously interested, PM me and we can go over the details. The next one up might be black basketweave. _________________ 1963 Notchback - Ruby Red

Here is the red mesh cover installed in my car with red interior to match.
My car didn't have the 'rails' on the back for the cover to sit on so I bought some L shaped mounting brackets and slid them in behind the rear interior panels. They fit nice and snug and can be pulled out at any time...I'll probably grind them smooth and paint them at some point.
I also took it out for a drive on some of the wonderfully paved, pothole filled roads of Oakland and it didn't jump around in the back at all. Fits like a glove and also keeps the car much quieter.
here are some photos:
