Just talked to my R&D guy, I think we are going to look more into something like your back seat Angelo(mainly because I want one ). We will also look into a VW only specific sport seat with factory mounts but bolstering and reclinable. I feel there is going to be a shift in VW soon and thing will slowly go back to being custom again. This is our sport seat in brick red/mesh red, but its a little too "nice" for a vw.

Those look nice. They have that bucket shape comparable to most sporty cars I like. _________________ The best of VW engine development!

How about a set of these
or these
with the rear trimmed to match?
Thats what i'm thinking about for my fastback. |
The second one is cool. First one looks too modern although still a cool shape.
I'd go for that if I were interested in an outlaw styled car. Blacked out rims, spartan looking street racer. Don't try too hard and it'll look cool. If you go to great lengths to match everything front and rear by re shaping the rear seat to look like buckets it might looked like you tried too hard. I mean, any car sporting those non-reclining race seats wasn't really built for passenger comfort so I wouldn't go fussing about a fully coordinated seat package. Just run std rear bench seat and one or two of those vintage race buckets up front. Maybe retrim the rear seat with same material but I wouldn't say it is completely necessary if they're all black colour. A retro style race steering wheel would top it off. _________________ Sydney, Australia.

Yep, I'm thinking about a possible retrim in the same material but on the stock bench.
Outlaw... Hmmm good idea. _________________ 1963 Karmann Ghia - Sold
