Hey All, Just a problem that maybe some of U have encountered.
Had an auto electrician hook up a new turn signal. He left out the canceling ring. So when I got home I took the steering wheels apart removed the turn signal and installed the turn signal canceling ring. B4 re-attaching the battery canceling ring worked great. After re-attaching the battery every time I use the turn signal, the horn goes off? Anyone run into this or might have any suggestions?

Did you happen to tighten the horn ring too tight? It's possible that when you move the signal lever that it's closing the gap between the wheel and the shaft just enough to sound the horn.

You could also try disconnecting the signal wires just to verify that it's not a wiring problem.

Sounds like the canceling ring is touching some part of the shaft, and grounding the circuit...making the horn go off. Or the turn signal switch is grounding when activated... Perhaps it's not seated fully?
