Thanks, the reason I'd like to see original ones is that I've just picked-up a few NOS ones from the obsolete parts of a local dealer but they don't have the long tails as the WW repros. I was wondering if there was different styles, maybe for Type2 or Ghias and which ones are correct for ovals?

I have a 57 beetle daily driver, was a 70,000 mi barn find.
And the NOS that you have pictured there was what was on the
car when I bought it. (the car was parked in 1964)

I cant post a picture, they are now long gone ( 175,000 mi on
the car now)

pretty sure.

I also have some NOS one's that I bought from a VW dealership many years ago. They look exactly like the ones you've pictured below. I've always wondered why Wolfsburg West reproduced them with such a long pigtail.

Thank you both for the info!
I guess that I can then safely assume that these are the correct patern for my '55. But as banana split was asking, why did WW make their repros with the long pigtail?
