A fellow enthusiast in the area has purchased two 68 squares over the last year and come over looking for some parts. one of my squares and my fasty are both 68s. so we got to talking a few weeks back...
Sunday he came over and pulled them both out of the back back yard where they had been sitting since 2006's Type 3 Invasion BBQ and they, along with almost all of my spare type 3 parts are no longer residing at CdF.
I am now down to my 3 notchbacks and that oddball 73 squareback. It is weird knowing I only have 4 VWs on the property. But, I know that he now has a spare of everything he needs to finish his 68 projects!

Did you remember to snag the good bumpers and flat red lenses you promised me in July?

see the rear bumper on the fasty Tram? That was one of them and the front on the red car is actually rolled down on the back edge.

Even the Yugo is more than I got for all of this stuff. 2 cars and a shed full might by a new tire for a Yugo.
