I just sealed the deal on a 65 beetle for $250.00. Needs work but that's the best part of it. I will post pics this Sunday after I take possession. I am pretty excited about completing this one because I was forced to sell my 62 in a divorce and that was my first beetle.

I am thinking about filling the rear side windows with sheet metal. I also want to do a rake chop on the front. narrow the front end and lower the rear and use air suspension.

When done, make sure to post pictures in the dedicated topic on in the Reader's Rides forum.

Looks pretty good for $250!

Did it come with the hood, engine lid, or any of the other missing parts?
