|
|
Hi,
I bought a kph trip speedo in bad condition and I restored all internal parts. It was rusty inside and now, all gears are working perfectly.
The only problem I am facing is that I am missing the axle that will make the gears work to have the odo turning. The axle will come out of the hole in the circle as shown on the picture
Does anyone know where I can buy such a little part ? Don't hesitate to send me a message if you can help me with that part.
Thanks

when I was repairing mine, I could not find anyone who would sell that part separately.
So I bit the bullet and sent it off to be repaired. Expensive but not as expensive as buying a used unit. Plus a 1 year warranty. _________________ Rick

If you had the exact dimensions, and believe it could be replaced with alastair part, a 3d printer could be what you need. Just an idea I've been kicking around if I ever come up with some extra scratch to print my own bug parts.

Well I could repair it with the use of a SKW speedo from 1960 where the inner parts are the same as my trip speedo.
It's good to know |
