Anyone have extra carfax available they can run a report? Recently picked up a 93 Eurovan and curious of the history. Let me know and I'll PM the VIN. Huge thanks in advance!

I found carfax not real useful. friend bought a small Honda civic, 1991 car he ran the carfax on it at purchase, came up clean, no crashes, no insurance claims reported on that car. A year later try to figure out how water was getting on the floor board, we tore away the interior to find that the rear quarter panel and rear apron was collision repair replaced, and the leak was from lack of sealant at the replaced body joints. He found this out after the carfax warrantee expired.

bottom line, is do your own inspection, carfax can tell you if the car has been wreck, maybe, then again maybe not. I believe carfax only has data on insurance repair claims. On older cars many people don't buy full insurance coverage, so they get repairs done out of pocket and that repair is not "insurance reported", hence carfax never finds out.

use caution, carfax is not 100% accurate, specially on older cars
