I think it's a great colour, But, I'm a bit partial to seablue myself. perhaps with a white roof.

This is a much more appropriate shade of blue.
(and Sea Blue would remind you of the Pacific Ocean) |

I think it's more helpful to see it in action rather than just in a pic (plus its a pretty funny video).
All this said, I think the Pontiac colour you are looking at is a great colour as well. My preference would be to steer away from a metalic though, I think the classic lines are better served with a solid colour. |
Haha!! That was pretty funny. I do like that color, Im torn. Of course thats on a perfect car so it looks even better!Id love to meet Jerry Seinfeld!!!! |

a lighter blue, huh?
my wife and I have been trying to decide on a color for our 72 vert, and have just about settled on a light metallic blue used on 2012 Chevy Cruz's.
think it'll look fine with white top and interior..... |

I'm thinking turquoise. Couldn't find a nice picture of a ghia with this shade. But I would love this on my car.ive seen Porsches with a similar shade.

Well....
I agonized about a color for years much to my wife's amusement. She had a color in her head. It didn't matter which color I would point out. Green, red, black, silver , blue, no, no, no!!
She did find what I think is a gorgeous blue called Arrival Blue. A GM color. Our painter added a bit of pearl to help set off the Ghia's lines.
If you are leaning towards a vintage VW color, two of my favorites would be Sea Blue and Gemini Blue Metallic.
Good Luck
Gemini Blue

Would that have been a front porch, or a back porch?
And what color was the house roof? |

I really do think I like it! And I think with the white top it's gonna POP. I am born and raised a California girl and just moved to louisiana, the light blue and white really remind me of a California sky. It makes me feel like home. I don't know if I want a more metallic paint though. This is really hard to do, c hosing a color. It's so permanent. Haha. |
Yep choosing the color really is the toughest decision you'll have to make. It took me forever to decide on the Chevy colour. The KG took me slightly less than forever |

I finally decided on the L227 Strato Silver. Looks different everytime you look at it.

Strato is beautiful. I would have gone with that on the low light but I wanted a stock color for my year.
It never does look the same from two angles.
Great choice. |

HOLY COW!! No joke!! I need to see the strato in person. It looks totally different on my phone right now!! I retract my previous statement. I'm gonna order some and spray it on. I was looking with my PCM and it looked silver. Wow. It's very pretty on my phone. |

It's actually not my car, it's an internet pic I found. The Strato Silver is really cool though, it reflects it's surroundings. If it's a bright sunny day the car will look bright blue, when it's overcast and cloudy it looks more silver. When the sun starts to set it tends to look more blue/grey. Kinda cool IMO. The Gemini blue was originally my first choice too, but Strato won me over. _________________ -Jared

Strato silver is great color! We've been painted two Coupes in that color and I must say it's gorgeous at sunlight!!!

They may look like a one car but note the different front turn indicators.
If you are into blue color I MUST suggest Porsche's "Aquablue Metallic"
