Is now officially set. October 25th, Saturday, at Hibernia Park's Fiddler's Field. Camping will be available from Friday night through the weekend, so you can stay the entire time if you wish. Jim Nolan and I are still hammering out details of course, but more updates will be forthcoming. We will still need volunteers for the show for parking, set-up / take-down, clean up and miscellaneous. Any and all help is greatly appreciated!

Excellent news, do you have a website for details and directions [you should use dripfest.com again].

This is great news, indeed. Michele and I camped both fri and sat nites last year in the bus - absolutely wonderful park and best wooded camping area ever - well worth camping the whole weekend, but man was it a cooker!!

Thank you for that! Yes, that was one of the reasons to move it late in the season. I know for the die-hard campers it won't be a big deal with the (hopefully) much cooler weather, but it should make the show more enjoyable. We will have more information in the next few weeks with how to register, directions and whatnot. There will be live music again this year with most of the bands that played last year on the stage back again. I think they had as much fun as the show attendees!

Pushing this back to the top. Only two months away - show will be here before you know it! Registration through http://www.dripfest.com/ is requested; day of show prices a bit higher! Come on out and enjoy all that the Park has to offer!

Music will be provided by some of the last years' bands. Food and drinks provided by the Friends of Hibernia. We'll try to set the Porto-Pots a little more user friendly for the campers this time!

Bump to the top - only three weeks to go. And judging by last nights temps... campers better pack some blankets!

Campers need to be there before sunset. The park closes the gates then and throws a lock on it. You will be provided the combination if you get there late or need to leave for some reason during the night. Bring a flashlight. I will have the combination later this week - please PM me for the information if you're camping.
Gates will open in the morning around 7A. If they are not open by the time I arrive, please park as far off the road as practical.

As far as an evening cruise or Sunday breakfast.. lots of places to choose from. There is a funky 50's style diner in Honey Brook if you're into that!

Friends of Hibernia should have some basic breakfast foods on Saturday - donuts, coffee and hot chocolate. The grill will be available for those who want to cook their own hot breakfast - you'll need your own hardware (skillets, spatulas, etc.).

We need volunteers to aid in cooking throughout the day to relieve others (figure a couple hours each), clean-up at the end of the day (collecting trash receptacles and bags), parking and directions - I will have some Boy Scouts to help with traffic control.

Please PM me for interests!

That's the plan unless it rains. Then the grill stays covered Laughing

A little over a week away! Long range forecast looks promising!

Directions:

From Morgantown area and west:

Turnpike option: Morgantown exit of the turnpike (298) to Rt 10 south. Follow Rt. 10 to Rt 322 in Honey Brook.
Take Rt 322 east approx 6 miles to Rt 82. Turn right onto Rt 82 south and follow for approx. 3 miles. Turn right
onto Cedar Knoll Road (landmark is a large farm on your left at the intersection). Follow Cedar Knoll road approx.
2 miles to the second park entrance (follow signs). Turn left into park and follow directions to show field.

All other follow Rt 322 directions from Honey Brook.

From Phila north and east:

Turnpike option: If you want to avoid the traffic and construction zones on Rt 202, follow the turnpike directions to
the Morgantown exit above.

All others:

Rt 202 south option: Rt 202 south to Rt 30 west - Exton/Downingtown. Follow Rt. 30 west via Rt 30 Bypass
approximately 13 miles to Rt 82 north. Turn left onto Rt 82 and follow north for approx 3 miles (note: very twisty
road, caution if raining). Turn left onto Cedar Knoll road and follow signs to second park entrance on left.

Rt 202 north option: Rt 202 north to Rt30 west - Exton/Downingtown. Follow directions as above.

Rt 100 south: Rt 100 south to Rt 113 south. Follow Rt 113 approx 4 miles to Rt 30 bypass west. Follow directions
above to Rt 82 and the park.

From points South, Rts 1 and I95

Major junction roads are Rt30 and Rt82. From Rt1 north out of Maryland follow Rt10 west out of Oxford, PA
approx 16 miles through Sadsbury to Rt 30 business. Landmark is a large Wawa on the corner. Make a right onto
Rt30, staying in right hand lane. Follow Rt 30 east to Rt 82, approx 8 miles. Turn left onto Rt 82 and follow
directions above for Rt 82 north.

GPS coordinates for entrance are: Lat 40° 2'17.05"N Lon 75°50'40.12"W

For GPS directions, please enter "Hibernia County Park, Park Road, Coatesville PA 19320". Double check on your driving directions that you are following at least one of the roads listed above as there are multiple Park Roads in the area. You will likely be directed to the first Park entrance, which is fine, simply follow the signs to the show field.

Bump to the top. Looks like a perfect fall day lining up! Notes to attendees, pets are permitted, just keep them leashed and cleaned up after. There will be no warnings - your dog runs loose or you don't clean up after, you will be asked to leave. We will have some coffee, hot cider and hot water for tea if anyone wants a warm morning wake-up call. I will be opening the gate at 7A, no need to get there before the sun rises!
