Shit- looks like I got some welding to do! lol. both of mine are broken. I've blasted and painted them already. One step forward, and 2 back I guess- the welds are pretty hard to see on mine- easy to miss. Thanks for correcting me-

I don't see how the cardboard is going to support the B pillar. Wink

A lot happened to the bus.
I completely renewed the lower front section and have been busy on the driver side rocker, frame and pillars.

Finally finished the center section.
I bought a wrecked bulkhead which i used to fill the gap.

Next step is to create the wheel arches and finish the center section.

Awesome. What's the plan for paint, blending on the spots that need it only or a full respray?

Repaint in the original colours, there's not much useable paint left on the vehicle.

Drove by a sandblaster the other day for a quotation for blasting and putting the shell in expoxy primer.
The quotation wasn't bad so that will be my next move to make.

Remade the front logo as same as the 52 taxi my grandfather was working with back in the fifties.

Score of today are these Kubel type 181 gears.
19:24 with ratio 1,26 (the same as a 1967 Samba) instead of 15:21 with ratio 1,4.
I'll be installing these in my original smallnut reduction axle's.
