Hi,
I have been out of the VW scene for a few years.
Previously I owned a 67' 13 Window Deluxe and 63' Beetle 'Tijuana Taxi' with my brother and father.
I was searching the local Craiglist ad's here in Nashville this weekend and spotted this 1964 Beetle and ended up bringing it home!
I purchased it from the second owner who has owned it for the past three years.
L-519 Bahama Blue sold new in Ohio.
Original paint with only the rear driver side fender being repaired and re-painted at some point.
Awesome patina!!!
All original interior, runs and drives!
All in all she is solid with just some small rust through in the front inner wheel well heater channels and rear heater channel.
Batter tray floor pan area was patched earlier in her life.
Plans are to go through the brakes and engine, put a new set of tires on and drive the hell out of it on the weekends.
Down the road I may look at lowering her...
It came with an original metal rack, wind deflector, couple boxes of parts and original german plate.
I spent the day cleaning her up and gave her a good bath.
Plans for next weekend include detailing the interior.
It came complete with 'The Club'!
Once I cleaned her up and gave her a good bath!

It's been a while. Calling the car done!
5" narrowed beam, 2 1/2" drop spindles, 2 notches in the rear, etc…
Thanks to Sam at Valley Autowerks!
Dad took some awesome pictures this weekend at an abandoned mill here in Franklin, Tn.
