I have been contacted by a non profit cancer organization that has a 1966 VW bug convertible (completely restored) that the want to sell for their charity. They would like to sell it in an auction format. Does anyone have any ideas of a good place to sell it to get the most money for the group? You may call me at 513 623-0186. Thanks, John

Alot of people here will not like this post becuase it is basically a sellers add. If you want a good sales price then you need to give us more. Pictures, rust engine size, history....more info. Were it is sold is also a huge factor on the price. I would also put it up for sale to the guys here in the classifieds on the Samba. Alot of them are always looking for good bugs to keep alive.

Where is the car? Are they willing to transport it to an auction house?
Who are you? A VW guy; a non-profit rep.; dealer, etc.? Advice on here is relative.
What is the timeframe? By year's end? If so, forget about big auction houses- you'll be limited to local or eBay.

In many words, more info is needed here, because your input here once is more productive than repeating it over the phone numerous times.
