I'm tired of replacing cheaply made OEM style window crank handles that break every 2-3 weeks. Are there possibly some higher cost, more durable options than the standard cheapo Brazilian junk commonly available? _________________ Ruby Red '66 Sedan with Puebla built 1600DP. |

When I was restoring my car I looked forever trying to find a clean set of window cranks. In the end I bought WW's. So far so good, but just an fyi, out of the box one of the knobs was a little more sloppy than the other.

Perhaps the problem is not the handles, but what's inside the door, or the glass, or the glass to felt fit? Just thinking out loud here. |

If you need specific 67 handles.. with the large black plastic knob.. buy good used and move on..

I have 2 '67 bugs and have used the handles from Airheadparts.com. They work great.

i've been runnin the WW 67 only cranks since the beginning of this year. no complaints. they feel very nice and solid.
I do have a mint set of OG 67 cranks stashed away for a rainy day though. _________________ 67 bug x3

just be glad you aren't looking for a '68+ crank....all replacements are total junk! I've bought all types...some broke with first use! _________________ 1963 Beetle
