I have been looking, looking, looking for a German rear fender for my 64 vert for quite a while....and NO luck. Found a nice 57 fender online, but not sure it would fit correctly ....any insight? Fit yes.. but FYI the holes for the tail light will be for the smaller tail lamp housing. _________________ aka Ken {o\!/o}

Thanks guys....now I know for sure, but the fender turned out to be aftermarket, and had to pass. Have been looking for the fender for several months now to no avail. Will just have to keep looking...there is one ....somewhere. Thanks again, Bob _________________ 1963 Convertible (Lizzie) and 1964 Convertible (Patience) 1976 Westfalia (Winnie) |

Ashley- where are you? There are rear fenders falling out of trees where I live. Post your locale- maybe a local from here can help. _________________

Hitest, live in Mesa AZ....and there are NO 60's rear fenders here.!!! I have been responding to every ad on the Samba that even remotely MIGHT have a left rear fender for sale...and 99% of the advertisers do not write me back! Even write to advertisers who had a pair of rears for sale, and called...and no response. I am very willing to pay a fair price (whatever that is) and freight by Greyhound to get a good German fender! so..if you know anybody...please tell them that some "nut" is looking for a good German left rear fender.... _________________ 1963 Convertible (Lizzie) and 1964 Convertible (Patience) 1976 Westfalia (Winnie) |
