October or November on a Saturday. Why not during the Summer months? |

Agree, I've been thinking of moving it earlier too (I also froze my butt last year). I'm however swamped trying to finish my final project at school (2 more weeks, yeah!) so I won't be able to even look at it until I'm done.
The Seahawks are definitely a problem, they're playing so well that nobody wants to miss a game |
I like Saturday too. Summer months are usually busier w/ different things going on and this GTG has worked out as an "off seasson" gathering.
what I'm wondering is if something like Golden Gardens might be somewhere drivers would want to meet.
I like Marymoor, but there's less other stuff to do while hanging out.
Playground for the kids, views of the water, etc... just a thought.
OH. and anyone else around these parts headed to Bend, Ore in mid-October? =) _________________ '91 Tornado Red NAHT'd Carat |

Are you perhaps making a veiled reference to the Wet Westies camping event same day as the Marymoor gtg, out at Tolt Macdonald park in the historic township of Tolt (aka Carnation, aka The Nation?)... _________________ '91 Syncro 16 Reimo Hightop Conversion, eTDI |

I live in Carnation. I didn't understand why that was questioned. |

From Weather.com:
--------------------------
Sat Nov 1
Partly Cloudy, high of 55°, low of 45°
CHANCE OF RAIN: 0%
WIND: N at 3 mph
--------------------------
WOW! A Westy meetup in the great PNW in NOVEMBER and the weather report says there's 0% chance of rain?!??!? That's AMAZING. The Westy Gods are smiling at us!!! Instead of crying on us, like usual.
Although, this roll-call thread has been unusually silent, so I'm hoping we get a good turnout! _________________ Now:

For the people subscribed to this thread, there'll be a new meetup at Marymoor on November

Since this is a "roll call" thread, I think I'm the first to check-in from the Magnolia neighborhood of Seattle. Any others? |

No action on this thread for a year. What's happening for 2016? There's Descend on Bend (Oregon, Oct 14-16), but we need an event in the Seattle area. _________________
