Brazilian splitty engine and chassis numbers

hi all I need help to locate a engine number on a Brazilian splitty . I am in the middle of filling out he paper work with the dvla but the engine number is not readable on the upstand under the dynamo is it any where else on the engine. as soon as its on english plates the engine is coming out for a glof tdi the number looks like 3F5657 dose that make any sense .

You can register a car in the UK without an engine number.

I don't have an engine number on mine (VW exchange engine with no serial number), so I put 'unknown' in that field on the V55/5.

I included a covering note with my registration application and the V5c has come back with 'unknown' in the engine number field.

Engine cast for Gen pedestal is the only place an engine number for a t2 has to be.
