This car is from California but now in Belgium.
I have no airco pump that I know I must look under the car of the condensator is there.
Is it original vw ? |

US dealers installed them, and there were at least two configurations. Quality of installations varied, with some putting holes where rust can follow.
There are far better systems available now (less power draw, smaller compressors), and perhaps if you like the vintage look you can restore that dash panel, and install new "guts."

Check out the coolest flat Euros on this Squareback. Have to give them credit for the ingenuity.

NOS Trifecta . My 3 NOS early type 3 ignitions.
1. in the box
2. in my restored type 34 ignition column
3. in my spare type 3 column
