I have a new to me 1994 Jetta for my wife with the 2.0 and auto. She loves the car. She would like a cupholder that takes large size coffee cups. The cupholders in the console under the radio only hold small cups or cans. What have you used or is there a good aftermarket product for this? Thanks! 2 small cups. Or my wife uses the storage bin between the seat backs. And after she broke the lid off with her elbow, that's about all it's good for now.
Can't have anything nice. |

After about 14 years of Rabbits & Jettas the best thing I ever came up with was those black plastic (hook on the window opening) cup holders . Not a very good option : /
I hope someone has a better idea . _________________ Currently own : 1969 Beetle w/ 1600cc, Single Port, Solex 30 PICT 2, Dist. 113 905 205 T, stock exhaust.

I have been driving a 96 jetta for 15 years so i have exhaused every option. The best thing for larger cups is to either wedge it on the left of your seat between the seat and the floor (i have had many large cups sit there and not move) or you can use the front slider handle on the passenger seat and there is a perfect spot for a larger travel coffee mug that fits there (i use that all the time too). |
