You can still see the center seam and some of the little knobs where they're injected(?) - don't recall what you call those things. Not sure how many miles on them. But it's few based on the pics. I just don't like them. Want to go stock. Best price I could find is below at summit racing. Not sure it's the right one. But it's the only Firestone 5.60 - 15 with a wide whitewall I can find. They go for $181 new shipping not included.

Not sure i understand the question - you have a set on your car and want to sell them? Any clue how old they are? Tires have a shelf life and I cant tell you how many I have thrown out (with the injection nubbies) that started to dry rot and crack. Used tires are not a high dollar item - If I was looking for a set for a trailer queen - wouldnt pay more than $20 each.

There on a car I bought. I don't think they are that old. They aren't showing any signs of cracking. Just maybe a few hundred miles on them. I'm just not into that style.

You bought this black bug? You still have a WTB ad up for a white or gray bug. Those whitewalls are Very Wide whitewalls. Exclamation

In the final stages. I'll take my ad down once the sale is final. I went for what the best car was. Instead of what exact color I wanted. But Ya. I hate those tires. Just wondering what I could get out of them.

Good that you found a better bug this fast! You might get $50 each on Craigslist to a car nut. We have a couple big car/truck Used Tire Dealers here. They would probably give $25 each for resale or trade in on new/used tires. I have been buying all my car/truck tires used there with good results/savings! They are usually Michelin,Pirelli,BF Goodrich etc that rich guys take off their cars/trucks with lots of tread left on them. Cool

100% depends on how old they are. New Coker tires are kinda pricey. But buying non-radial tires is a collectors thing, no one in their right mind would buy bias ply tires this day in age.

How many months or years are they good for just sitting on the car in a garage?

To find out how old your tires are look for the four digit number located after the DOT code. The first two digits stand for the week and the last two are for the year.
example: 4205 means this tire was manufactured in the 42nd week of 2005

If the tire was manufactured before 2000 it will have a three digit code.

Tires are usually good for 8 to 10 years.

That doesn't seem to follow the normal DOT tire code format but if it reads the same:
0401 is the 4th week of 2001 so they are pretty old now.

You have to keep in mind that many folks rarely drive their cars, so tires can have very little wear and be shot. Like I have mentioned, I recently hauled 2 sets to riff-raff pickup that looked like that had maybe 100 miles on them, but were dryrotted and cracked badly. Get what you can for them OR whats real handy is use them for rollers for your next project. I keep a couple sets around just for that purpose.
