Dang wish you would have come through Arizona. Would have met up with you here in east central AZ. Compared our 73's.
Be safe, take your time.

Hi all I am in Portland. It feels funny being so close to my final destination.
I'll be here for a week and then Seattle.

To everyone who has been following my trip I do apologize with the radio silence. I have been in Portland putting my engine together, all in the hopes of attempting to get home in one piece.
The long and short of it is my engine seized. The possible culprit is a seized main seal

Part 2 of Miami or bust is on standby. I have been putting off alot of commitments, e.g. family and school. So now I have to head home go back to responsibility and attend to them now. I plan to reconvene and finish the trip properly and do you all proud soon enough. Running away in my bug is a dream that will happen once again.

From the bottom of my heart thank you so much. Without your support, help and guidance I am still alive & thriving today.
Thank you and talk soon!

Ant & Bugsy

Ps. Bugsy seems to adore Portland since she is adamant on breaking down here so often. I may have to live here.

Two rebuilds done in one month. Today is the moment of truth. My plan is to by northbound for Vancouver to beat out the crazy storm coming from Alaska.
I really need to choose my words more wisely for next time when I ask for an adventure.

Bugsy Miami or Bust complete.

FINALLY reached my final destination.
Thank you so much for the encouragement and words or support and really actual support.
I really could not have done this without all of you.

I learned so may lessons from the STRENGTH of community to humbling lessons like asking for help which was a tough one for me to do initially.

I am now going back to the workforce(slash going through the amazing task of sorting through my writings and documentation)and may not have as awesome posts or updates or maybe so busy that I will drop off the face of the earth. However I will still be around plotting my next adventure and hope to see you in it.

SERIOUSLY ALL OF YOUS THANK YOU.

This is the coolest thread I have come across in a long time. I'm originally from Surrey but I am living in Victoria right now. I'd love to hear some of your stories from the trip! Sounds super awesome!

Would love to do a similar trip in my 72 some day...

So there's electricity flowing through. Gas in it. It is turning over but doesn't stick even with my foot on the gas. Pumping does not help either. Any suggestions?
The good news is that its starting.

Just read through this thread. Sounds like an awesome trip. Just wondering if you could make the clips accessible?
