Well, we've been bouncing around for the last week. The week before Thanksgiving, it was 2.66 a gallon, then 2 days before the holiday, gas jumped up to 2.95 to 2.99 a gallon. Now, after the weekend, we're at 2.75 a gallon. No reason for the jump, other than to gouge the travelers.
Hope it drops some more, but I doubt it with Christmas coming up. _________________ Bob 65 Notch S with Sunroof

On the news tonite, they are saying that gas prices will drop below $2.00 in many places in the US next week. Oklahoma City is supposed to be the first place. $2.44 at Costco here. |

Apparently you don't. It burns just fine in any vehicle I have driven up to their pumps. _________________ nothing |

10% ethanol in nearly every gallon of gasoline sold in the US these days. There is ethanol free premium fuel, but it tends to be 50-75 cents per gallon more than ethanol blend premium. Most stations don't sell non-ethanol fuel anymore, you gotta search for it. _________________ nothing |

Here in Adelaide Australia, try $1.35/litre ($4.95/US gallon) at the local servo (gas station).
The cheapest in town (got some there today) is $1.19/litre ($4.36/US gallon).
You guys in the USA can't complain too much :-) _________________ Rob

AS has been pointed out several times in this thread, most of the difference between your price and ours is gov't taxes. The raw fuel price isn't much different. _________________ nothing |
