Lots of "clicks" round here..

Well there ya go..

Each outside splines give approx 8 degrees of change.. you went 2 so thats approx 16 degrees.. equates to little over 2 inches.
Its going slam the ass end
Depending on tire and wheel configurations it very well could rub..
PLUS... if the torsion bars are a little fatigued.. 2 clicks can actually drop it more than expected..

What wheels?.. what size tires?.. Both sides?

Stock 15"wheels with 165 tires. Yes it's rubbing on both sides. I just narrowed the beam with adjusters and 2 1/2 drop spindles. So the back needs to be low, but two clicks just rubs.

Hmmmm sounds like weak torsions.. You may have to make adjustments with inner and outer splines to get it where ya want it.
Search torsion spline chart.

Tires rubbing may end up being the least of your troubles.

But have you considered wheel spacers to get the tires off the body mounts?

Or maybe just grind the body mounts away. There are plenty of other bolts holding the body on.

That must be a really nice ride if the spring plates are sitting on the stops.

What do drop plates do? Do they lower the back if you do not change the "clicks". I do not like the "Broke" look (Rear Tires canted in) but do like lower. Would drop plates help?

There are fixed drop and adjustable drop spring plates.
Both are usually installed at stock spring plate angles.

Fixed result in a given amount of drop built into the plate, while adjustable allow adjustment.

Either will drop the rear, obviously adjustable allows fine tuning.

Both yeild a saggy bottom look on a swing axle.... Confused

You still get the same change in camber (broke look) with drop plates. Drop plates have elongated toe adjustment slots so that you can run proper toe while lowered. They are also designed so that they don't interfere with the travel limits at the torsion bar housing ends.

Also, if you do to the work of installing a drop plate, you have removed the old torsion plates and therefor still have to set them up for the desired amount of drop.

The big advantage I can see would be to be able to run the correct amount of toe, as you quickly run out of adjustment with the stock torsion plates and end up running excessive toe in.

Merely a saggy bottom reference.. not hating on anyone..Its just not my thing..
Once you lower the rear swing axle past level axle... its sags towards severly negative camber... (and positive damage)

If you want to lower the rear slightly... the torsions can be adjusted with a series of inner and outer splines to just about any height.
Its cheaper that way..
Adjustable plates are for those who really like to fine tune the height and have money to waist (over time)..

This is the style I refer to as.... the saggy bottom bugs... Confused

Broke look or saggy bottom.. both look real cool when its on the side of the road with burnt out fulcrum plates or drum splines..
Goes from your "Broke Look" .. to broken

Fine for show Rolling Eyes ...I guess.... but sucks for go..

This style didnt really start showing up until all the ricer boys and girls started dumping theirs way down in the dirt... so some followed suit...
Same can be noted with the tricycle look front beam...
Narrow a beam to fit wheels under a fender..... .but so far under to loose sight of them... I dont get..

To each their own.. not my circus..not my monkeys..

I lower all my vehicles.. Just know when to say when..

The main two things that drop plates do for you is to give you the toe adjustment already mentioned. But they also allow you to get your spring plates off the stop and have a little suspension travel.

The only way to get rid of the broke look on a low swing axle car is to do a transmission raise and get the axles back to being level. Thats big modifications.

How do the axle bearings survive with that much negative camber?
