Restroyed... is that a real word, not heard round here, can't find my dicksonairry rite now |
It's a word for people who "think" they restored something, but did it only half ass or made things worse. Kind of like eyetzr's meaning of the word "rare", as in not well done.
But you can thank Tram for coming up with that word (restroyed). _________________ Bob 65 Notch S with Sunroof

That should look good on your project. It'll probably even fool the non-VW types, or those that should know better.
Well, IF the other side was finished.
9 bucks a glass. Ouch. I knew New York was expensive, but WOW. Was the salad 20 bucks on it's own? _________________ Bob 65 Notch S with Sunroof

Yeah, I gotta say, I'm not digging the half-and-half look either. But, it's not my car.
GP, is it running yet? _________________ 71 Elm Green FI A/T Squareback |

We started it sept 6th . We found out the carbs needed to be rebuilt . Kits were ordered and I am currently waiting on the rebuild guy .
I am busier than planned ,the trip to New York , and Helping reorganize the decorating company warehouse . We normally don't have work in December but a months extra pay will really help the camper interior plan$$ .
AND remember the half and half IS temporary _________________ 63 two fold rag

All the big conventions have a decoration " theme " . the last one in new York was " The Instruments of our Success " .
There were eight 7x16 printed framed panels that hung on stage . I borrowed 4 to brighten the garage .
Great news today !!!
The carbs are ready to go in !!!!
Scheduled for Saturday !!.........I could be cruising on Sunday !!!!

I told him you always need a spare for just this kind of day .

Went to the mechanics to put the carborators in ;
GOOD news , they work ; timing is set ;
Bad news , oil cooler is leaking ;type3 fan is broken and has to come out AND the beam has to come off cuz I stripped the adjusters trying to lower them .
I told the mechanic that I was going home to put a cover on the TYPE6 and I would be back in JUNE !
Guess I'll be re-enacting in January in a 93 ford van
Needed new photos for Hagarty
