Not for an off roader but thought this section might have the answers?
I like the look of this style of seat but I dont want to alter my seat rails.
Is it possible to find a style of seat like this that will use the original VW fittings??
Thanks

Most of the decent seats I have seen will not fit VW seat rails without a lot of mods... IT was easier to use after market sliders with my RPR seats for me...

I used racetrim seats. Just weld a piece of tubing to the OG seat bases. I then welded nuts into the ends of the tubes. Left the rear "loose" to hinge for rear seat entry. Works perfect......

The stock sliders at least on pre '75 cars, can flex and jump the track when offroad. A simple L strap over the lower tube of the seat base will prevent this.
