So yesterday a few of us went out and gathered some fine fresh Chanterelles.

Dustin, Letti, Michelle, J.C., Michelle, Monica and Kim all found some nice mushies.

Now we are thinking about going back out for a full weekend mushroom adventure.

The plan is to go camp at Uncle Bill's Friday-Sunday Nov 21- 23.

We would do a day trip to a super secret spot for Chanterelles about 15 min drive from Bill's property. There are probably mushrooms at Bill's also.

Let's get a head count of interested folks that love to cook and eat a fine meal made with Chanterelles.

Francoise, we will do all the hiking and picking if you will man our kitchens upon our return.

Let's gather and eat some Chants!!!!

It's been awhile. Wine harvest has been intense.
Jc, I'm down with a little camping with uncle bill, He's a barrel of laughs!
Lot will be fun to make some more fresh mushroom dishes.

I'd like to do a little PdX get together as well. Share a beer and catch up with you crazy cats.

I can probably rally next weekend for a little fun at Bill's. I think I've killed my aux battery so I may need to buy a new one before then if I want heat. Then again, I don't even know if my propane works after Mogfest...

Sorry macdude I've been super busy and didn't see your post. It was fun meeting you at the last GTG with Drive Nacho Drive. Hope to catch you next time your in town.

Anyone have imputs or ideas for a Christmas Holiday Gathering?

I have presents that could go into a gift swap! There has been chatter about gathering and doing a mass drive to a second location.
Seems like people want a large parking lot that we can drink beers in with an indoor beer hall next door, just like the old luck lab spot.
Pete said he could arrange the parking lot next to the old lucky lab that was used last year, but not ideal.

-Anyone with location ideas? Beer hall with a large parking lot?
-As for dates Saturday's seem to do best, right? 13th or the 20th of December looks like the best options.

Chime in! Let's all join together and burn a fatty Yuletide log for our favorite German vans.

Tilt on swan island has a huge amount of parking, good food & beers, but it's not a brewery.
you could easily take it over during a Saturday afternoon GTG.

Edgefield was fun in the past, you could do cruise out there.

Tilt is a great idea! Good beers on tap and amazing burgers! Their dining space is nice and open too with good views of the parking lot Laughing

So can we all get together on the 20th of December for good food, beer, and van talk!? I've got stories to tell!!

The 20th will be good for me because that is just about the time the extended family invades. I will need a break Laughing
