I'm in the process of putting together a basket case 49 Type1 front end. I managed to properly assemble the spindles and kingpins but am lost on the link pins. I have a new link pin kit from Febi. It includes the link pins, o-rings, stamped spacers and a large quantity of shims. Does anybody have a picture or exploded diagram of the order of assembly/placement of the various parts? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

In 1949 it were not used O-rings or pressed plates, just 10 pcs of shim for each pin.

Location and quantity of shims on either side is total ten per pin but offset between the trailing arms must be measured with offset tool and then look in manual to determine number of shims and where. O rings were only used in later years.

I found a chart with the shim number and placement corresponding to the measured difference between the upper and lower front trailing arms. Thanks.
