Well, you've now moved up a few steps in the VW hierarchy! Enjoy the ride - in every possible meaning of the word. _________________ Festina lente - hasten slowly

Here I'll post these on here for you. When you turn the key are you getting anything? Then - adjust valves, adjust / replace the points in the distributed , replace distributer cap and rotor button, Aswell as the spark plugs and wires. Going to need to test for spark, could be bad coil, actually could be anything. Need some more info on it. Post more pics when you can.
Other than that, welcome to the samba and the air cooled adventure.not a bad looking 69. Looks like it has the average Ghia rust spots. Are the floors rusty? _________________ 1973 karmann ghia - current, not the last VW.

Nice car. Are those the "headstone" seat backs (as found on a '68) I see or are there covers over your standard 69 seat backs? _________________ Festina lente - hasten slowly

This is a "headstone" seatback for a '68. What do yours look like?

It does not have headstone seats got engine to run for a it 2min with fuel in a cup also coil isn't getting power so I have to give it 12volts to start other wise I'm very happy I hope to get some time later today to button some things up and take it for a little joy ride around the neighbor hood later |
