I reacenlty acquired a Kubelwagen replica and it is a work in progress. I just thought that all of you out there who has these vee dubs please post then here..

Hi DONGKG

Nice work! My Father-in-law and I built one and had a great time with it! We took it to a few VW events and it proved very popular (if you take yours to a show be prepared to answer questions). He passed a few years ago and I let her go a bit but I getting ready to go through her and add some more details and possibly repaint her into European theater markings. Here's a few pics of her.

The one above from Englishtown 2007 is real, I think. I remember talking to a guy there that had one bought from a collection in Las Vegas. It was an older and poor restoration. Could be wrong...

You’re correct, it’s real. Very haggard and thrown together but it’s restorable. His ‘information’ board was entertaining though. Sorta like this thread...a good example of a bad example Laughing
