Best guess....

Blaupunkt Hildesheim A bouwjaar with an American face, about 1964...?

Google that and you might find a link that could get you to your exact model, but that's in the ballpark.

What, you don't have a 1955 Telefunken in your 356 yet?

I can hear the grill heating up.... Laughing

I have a Telefunken Autosuper rocking around on the shelf which I should ultimately put in my car, but indeed they are not easy to come by, and on top of that you need a power unit which is even rarer.
