I'm not sure about all years, but I know for my '63 that they do not interchange. The swoop over the end of the heater channel is a different contour.

bugs have a diff curve, sit closer to tunnel i believe.

I had a '70 Bug and now a '69 Ghia, foot rests are different.

I guess that`s why a Ghia footrest costs double that of a bugs.

It should be like a $20 part. Contact northwestghiaguy, (not sure of his samba name, but its close to that). Or contact anyone parting out a ghia in the classifieds. Do you need single or 2 tab, I may even have a rough one in the garage.

the passenger foot rest in my '64 ghia was rotted away on the bottom 5 inches and I tried the very new looking one from my '65 bug and it fit and is in the ghia now...fit perfect...can take a pic... PM me
