My wife and I attended, bringing our "His and Hers" 21 window Deluxes.
As always, a nice friendly crowd with many interesting split window critters.
Every time I go I learn something new, either by overhearing people talking to vendors, or getting an earful from proud owners. I always come away with the thought of "wow .... I never knew that!"
I am frequently amazed at the vast variety of aftermarket things that people come up with ... not just parts but cool window dressing things like the little clam shell cigarette case business card filer with a split bus logo on the front that I bought. We still have hopes for the grand kids getting on board with the whole air cooled VW genre, so we always wind up buying T shirts, toys, and so on for them.
My only regret this time around was the same as last time: no Hot Dog Fred with his dogs and wursts. I understand the Veterans Stadium vendor concept, but some things are just meant to be ,,,,,, _________________ "Honesty hath no fence against superior cunning" |

Does anyone know if the OCTO drone guy posts any of his photos or video footage? I've seen the same guy piloting the drone on a couple different occasions. He appears to be a very competent pilot and I'm sure his footage is awesome...Thanks. _________________

There are some still photos and a video on Instagram, both shot by a drone at OCTO last weekend. The poster goes by the Instagram name: TORRESM69
Pretty cool stuff... _________________
