Funny, the opposite seemed to be true here. After sticking around town for a week or so, I put some highway miles on it the past few days, and it's still leaking as awesomely as before.
I was under there changing the oil tonight, and took a closer look at the trans for the first time. Seems like I should have that thing out in about 45 mins??? It almost looks too easy to be true...

I replaced the slave about two weeks after I bought the van. I wish I had known then that the rear main was about to quit.

So what was the outcome with this? I am in the middle of replacing my flywheel seal as we speak. All the same symptoms, crappy orange seal put in myself about 2009 soo....
