There has been some discussion as to how the sedan bodies were delivered to Karmann, in what state of completion. Maybe this picture answers how the truck drivers prepared the bodies on the way...

Did that truck driver really go under a too-low overpass? That's a fast way to make a convertible.

You know, they say that the Roman arch is one of the strongest shapes that man has ever built, endured for Centuries!

The Beetle has that same arch shape making it strong.........

This driver was just testing to see if that VW ad was true!
