It will bolt up fine but the clutch, flywheel and starter will not match. So you will need to go one way or the other with them. Are you planning keeping the 6 volt generator? I would check with Mofoco but I am not sure the flywheel will work with a 36 horse!

I was going to ask why, but alright.

Why not a sing axle box? that's what I would use for a straight line racer.

I am not opposed to a swing axle, but I already have a car with a tranny.

Perfect car to do a 36hp challenge car with. The swap is very easy with the most expensive part being a 90mm 12 volt generator. Those can be found in the classifieds here or you can get one off Ebay. The starter can be taken care of with either a 12 volt starter with a 6 volt drive gear, or by having a 12 volt ring gear put on your flywheel (Rimco does that). The only differences with the clutch is in size only (180mm vs 200mm). The 180mm clutch will work fine on the IRS gearbox.
