So I bought a 2 inch wider fiberglass kit privately. seller would not split up the kit so I bought all 4 fenders, only needed the rears at the time.

Now I find my front tires are rubbing after lowering the car.. then I found out that the front fenders are for "Superbeetle"

Q's...

-- has anyone been able to modify super beetle fenders to fit Standard Beetle?

-- where's the best place to buy fiberglass fenders?

I'm in Canada so if anyone on here knows of a source in Canada, that would be great.

As I'm finding, there IS NO "Free Trade Agreement"

New, Used.. but they have to be 2 inches wider

-- anyone ever chop the steel fenders in half and add a 2 inch strip of metal in there? is that a worthwhile endeavor?

-- does anyone out there NEED 2 inch wider, fiberglass, SuperBeetle Front Fenders? I know where there is a set Smile

-- I even thought of moulding some fiberglass fenders off the originals and making them 2 inches wider.. Anyone ever try that?

-- Anyone ever made F-Glass running boards from scratch?
