I dont know man.

The two westfalia cabinet handles if non-cracked and the visor clip pretty much cover the $20.

You are just from an era where this shit was "stuff" that made its way to the bottom of your tool box after a day of picking parts in the early 90's at a Pick'N'Pull - bullshit fodder the inspection dude didnt care about cuz you bought a set of carbs and a fender Rolling Eyes

LOL. If that's how much they are worth then I have 600 dollars worth sitting in a cardboard box downstairs underneath a few dusty carbs and distributors.

Installing them in a 1970. Should have been ok.

No shit Mad Have you tried pulling the studs out of the visors more?, looks like it's time to drill some new holes to mount the visor clips further outboard.

Yah, I could have sworn mine were adjustable to a point. The piece that goes into the clip should pull out some.

Agreed, but that looks like an extra long stretch for the pins, one careless pull by an unknowing passenger will bust it right off, too much force concentrated on the fulcrum of a long lever will definitely exceed the quality control tests undertaken at the Sum ting wong sunvisor works.

With that level of rust, hackery, and filth, it's a $1000 bus.

It does pull out a bit, not enough. I'll feel better moving the housing closer to the visor, less chance of breaking the stud.
Thanks

I have tried several times to stop folks posting good deals in someone else's backyard, but to no avail.

Once more, just for fun. If you find a good deal on a VW that you are not any where near, and have no intention of buying, don't post it here. Send a link to a samba member in the area to give them a chance at buying it before they get undercut by a flipper.

Stepping down from soapbox.

Sort of figured that, but I just felt asshole-ish enough to throw it out there again. Laughing

I had this same issue with visors I bought from Bus Depot. They have a partnership with Just Kampers and sell a lot of JK parts on their site.

When I called Bus Depot they said that you need to pull the plastic attachment post out a bit as well as the metal mounting bracket on the other end to lengthen them enough to fit.
