My 33 Ford is fiberglass and it is painted with "Pitch Black" PPG base/clear. It's been painted for 15 years and the paint looks as good today as it did when it was freshly painted.
The car does get unbelievably hot inside and on a hot sunny day there isn't an instant detailer out there that doesn't evaporate as soon as you spray it on even though it says it works in direct sunlight.

Lost,
That paint is amazing. That is obviously a base coat clear coat and not a single stage right? If so do you know how many coats of clear were applied? I would love for my Buggy's body to turn out that brilliant.

Six coats of clear and probably sanded off 2 coats.

Personal taste I know, but there is no better color than black on a rod like that.!
Hard to tell from my little phone screen but is there a hint of black pearl on it?

Here is mine, Base/clear coat (ceramic clear), I got some problems in the sun with the repaired spots, not with the paint itself.
