Here is a photo of my nos Pepco boost gauge.
Drill and tap a hole in the intake manifold just below the mounting flange.
Use a brass fitting to connect the hose to the manifold and connect the other end to the gauge. _________________ The problem with reality is that there's no background music !

I put the brass fitting on the metal plate between the supercharger and the manifold. I run a Fageol Pepco on a metalplate (distance) from Ray Schubert.
Sadly I have no picture on the installation.
I run a boost gauge from a ww2 plane.
Good luck! _________________ Insta: 50_split

I was thinking of doing it this way . If I ever get to it. I think this is what 50 split was suggesting also.

Hi,
in this position, wouldn't the oil lubrication from the charger get in to the vacuum
gauge & give a false reading
thanks

Are you looking in the right spot. I'm not talking about the blue fitting, that would be the oil drain. The brass fitting on the square plate. The opening to the supercharger is larger than the intake man. gasket so there is a little room there for a fitting.Maybe a 1/4 inch fitting. |
