Have you ever looked for a dated part (engine/chassis/etc...)?
I created a table of info... just engine/chassis... using a period calendar & holidays.... 6 day work week.
Can you tell me any more nuances or make any corrections that you might see as needing to be made? I'm asking in this forum... because I think there might be some of the wiser and foreign folks with first hand knowledge / good memories. I've seen that Wolfsburg & Hanover are both in Lower Saxony & each state follows their own set of holidays.
I broke total produced into equal increments based on number of worked days per month. It seemed to jive pretty good with a birth cert. from the gallery.

This will work for engines and transaxles, but not for chassis numbers, as the cars were not assembled in chassis number order. Export market cars were assigned blocks of chassis numbers depending on the market (e.g., US and Canada shared the same blocks of chassis numbers). _________________ Thanks,
