Does anyone know where to get the large S speedwell center cap for BRM's? I've seen them on a few cars, but can't find where to get them.

Thanks for any help.

Billet is usually easier for smaller shops to do since you don't need to bother about castings that still would need machining. And the tooling is cheaper than die-pressed plate.

FAT Performance in Orange, CA used to sell good copies of the pressed original caps, and may still do. Give them a call.

Would these clear the end cap on earlier beams?

My original caps don't fit right especially the drivers side with the odometer cable thru it as well!

So i'd like to run these if they would fit with the cable thru it!

Anyone an idea???

Same here, having an issue fitting the cap on the front left.

As a product designer it might be a good idea to add maybe another mil more of material out at the center of the caps - so adjust the outer profile. Then take one cap and machine the inside center in another 2mm for clearance.
Most of us don't have a lathe and these caps are expensive to have to take a Dremel tool to it. I'll have the one "shaved" in by tonight but it's a pain in the arse!
Not as big a deal, just more time consuming - again customer experience is important - I know it may be easier for assembling and getting out the door faster but it'd be nice if I didn't have to take all 3 threaded posts out, have to flip them, then turn 'em back in. This is a minor nit pick though.
Make them fit for all the cars=better product and customer service Smile
Other than that I love them. Would still recommend them.
