I was wondering if there is any one at all that may have a parts list for everything needed to install the sunroof for a 1966 bug, I recently bought the bug and have a pile of stuff and unsure how to go about starting the process. Any help/advice would be appreciated.

This factory Type 3 sunroof is very similar I believe. Match your parts up to this picture.

Sweet thank you! Have you or anyone else ever had to install one? If so, what are the steps? Or where can I find the steps to complete the installation?

Yes, but get your sunroof parts arranged before Search for Bobnotch & sending him a PM (private message).

Thanks for the picture Mike! But what are the long pieces on the inside? I know the metal pieces that hold the cord are on the outside and those small plastic pieces, but what are the middle ones?

And there's not much more I can add to it. Shocked
