I should not be an issue in a properly running engine. However, why risk it? Get the high temperature paint.

The only part visible in the engine compartment that get too hot for regular paints is on the heat riser manifold where it bolts to the exhaust system (near the #2 exhaust port) Painting the engine tin with regular aerosol paints should be fine.
