Before I mess this up, how do install a new rivet/pin in the vent window upper bracket?

I bought the pin/fiber washer from WW...it's not a normal rivet, so how do you install it? Special tool?

Thanks,

I saw this posted (not on Samba) a while back and (fortunately) saved it to a file. [The website is now gone.]

I used this clamp just as described when I changed out the vent window on my '96 Mexican Beetle.

If it's hard to read, PM me and I'll forward you the pdf.

Perfect, thank you. I have several of these beam clamps at work.

I used a punch that I ground down with a tight radius, cut it off and used visegrips and squished it into place.

I use a .99 C-clamp purchased from Harbor Freight.
