Sand car with stock bus trans. Currently the engine is running 34mm vents. would a bump to 36mm kill the bottom too much? Looking for a little more zoom at the top of the hill 
Specs:
2275
CB heads 42 x 37 valves. flowed and port matched
TCS 10 cam
1-1/2 exhaust
8.5:1 compression |

The cam is the problem, not the 34mm venturis. Cam is too small.

Ok. So a venturi change will have no effect? A detrimental effect? |

your engine is such that an increase in venturi size is not going to do anything positive, IMO.
