ID this 6 volt coil?

No numbers on this coil. The only identifying mark is the logo which appears to be a "GL". I'm interested because the case is aluminum, and it looks kinda cool.

Thanks for the good info. After reading through it I did a little backroom archaeology and found the matching coil bracket, and a GL type 2 distrib as well. Interesting old junk. Think I'll use the coil and bracket on my trike.
