Great job supporting the 66's, but is there any way you could use the correct square weave material and not the incorrect basket weave? I would imagine your vinyl supplier has other options? |

the actual correct pattern would not be a square weave, it would be a basket weave type pattern very similar to Chrysler of the 60's.Without opeing a whole 'nother can of worms, this is what we are offering. _________________ Mario De Leon

They look quite different to me, maybe it is the window glare?
Yours seem to look like the 1967 and up pattern.

This was from my previous post. The lines have been corrected.
This is the Chrysler basket weave.
We will not be replacing the basket weave. _________________ Mario De Leon

Hi Mario, I see that you have the door panels on the TMI website now. It looks like you only have three colors to choose from (black, red and beige). Is it possible to get them made with the saddle smooth vinyl (#90)?
Thanks! _________________ http://das-auto-66vw.tumblr.com/ |

Any chance you can offer a set with no pockets? I know it's not original but I hate the look of the pockets. Thanks! |

Mario,
I just talked to Wolfsburg West and they don't have their shipment of 66 beetle door panels in yet. I was told to check back in about two weeks. I definetely want a set. Thanks again for making these happen! _________________ Success is never final, failure is rarely fatal, and courage is always necessary. |

This is the last piece to this part. I don't have a OEM panel or pic to make sure the lines are the same for sedan and convertible. Once I have that, a part number can be created and your good to go. _________________ Mario De Leon

TMI is now able to supply the correct roll over front and rear seats in bright red basket weave. There is a $25 upcharge due to the limited amount of yardage we purchased. We also corrected the rear seat pattern so its not "universal". We also have the correct 66 only door panels and bright red armrest available.
44-1136-057 is the part number. We should have it up soon and im letting my dealers know also. |
Mario,
The part number you have listed is for the door panels in bright red correct? What about the correct seats in bright red? Do you have a part number for the front and rear kit or if I contact WW they will know exactly what to order? _________________ View my 66 build thread here: http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=507996 |

Mario, tell me about the door panels. Can I get one for the driver-side with the stainless steel trim and arm-rest? I want a set of new door panels for my '66 but I want an arm-rest for the driver-side. Part numbers and cost information?
I may be the first one to order Red door panels if someone else doesn't beat me to it. Got any pictures yet?
